June 2026 Transparency Report
The agar trial resolved — T3 and T4 held and are now cold-stored. A first grow-jar test off LC-2026-002 was cut short when the autoclave's heating rod burned out mid-run. The autoclave is out of commission until the exact replacement rod is sourced.

1. Summary
June resolved one open question, started the next step, and then hit a hardware wall that now gates everything downstream:
- The agar recipe trial is settled. Of the four
AGAR-2026-003media recipes (T1–T4), T3 and T4 gave the cleanest results and are now cold-stored in the fridge as the working stock. The media question that was open since May is closed. - The liquid culture went into a first grow-jar test.
LC-2026-002— all four jars performing well — was used to inoculate two grow jars (GROW-2026-001), the first time the lineage left liquid culture. This run was informal and never finished (see below), so treat it as a probe, not a result. The LC jars have since matured and are being phased out; a fresh LC will be made when the next grow jars are needed. - The autoclave is out of commission. Mid-way through the grow-jar sterilization, the heating rod burned out. No further sterilization is possible until the exact replacement rod is sourced — which means finding the original manufacturer. Until then the whole chain is blocked at the one step that needs a sterilizer.
Heading into July, the focus shifts from the lab bench to the two things that unlock the actual build: planning the raise and selecting the farm land. Lab work is deliberately secondary next month — the culture chain is proven enough to pause, and it's gated on the autoclave anyway.
No ledger movement in June. Personal capital deployed: $0.00. Operating balance unchanged at ₹68,305.87 ($736.13 at end-June FX). No DAO treasury movements — the DAO is not yet capitalized.
2. Lab status
June's work was resolving AGAR-2026-003 and running the first grow-jar test off LC-2026-002, which created the new GROW-2026-001 batch. All of it — the T3/T4 selection and cold-storage, the grow-jar test, the autoclave failure, and the LC phase-out — is now logged on /lab, so the public record matches this report.

Two things went right and one went wrong. The agar trial did its job: T3 and T4 were the recipes whose mycelium ran cleanest, so those two are the media I keep, and they went into cold storage to hold as working stock. And the liquid culture — four clean jars after the June 5 confirmation — finally got used, going into two grow jars. That step is the first time the cordyceps lineage has moved past liquid culture.
The wrong thing: the autoclave's heating rod burned out mid-sterilization on the grow-jar run. That aborted the test before it could be completed or judged, which is why it's logged here as informal and incomplete rather than as a result. More importantly, it takes the sterilizer offline entirely. Every downstream step — grow jars, fruiting, remaking any culture — depends on sterilization, so the burned rod is now the single binding constraint on the whole operation.

3. Financials
No ledger entries in June — zero inflow, zero outflow. The month's work ran on existing agar and culture stock, and the grow-jar test used consumables already on hand.

The INR balance is flat against May at ₹68,305.87; the USD figure ($736.13 vs $738.58 last month) moved only on foreign-exchange drift, not on any transaction. Note that the autoclave repair is a July cost, not a June one — the heating-rod replacement (once the manufacturer is found) and any sourcing/shipping will show up as an outflow next month. Per-line purchase detail stays private; aggregates are public, and specifics go to existing investors as part of the quarterly audit.
4. Production progress
Zero kilograms harvested in June — but the lineage did move. The path runs agar → liquid culture → grow jar (colonize → fruit → harvest in the same jar), and June is where liquid culture first fed into grow jars. That step didn't complete because the sterilizer failed, so it counts as an attempt, not a pass. The chain is now parked one step further along than May, waiting on the autoclave.
No new units were registered in June. Current work-in-progress unit tally across the active lab (mother culture excluded): 23 healthy, 6 suspect, 5 contaminated. The AGAR-2026-003 plates that back the T3/T4 selection are among the healthy count.

6. Risks and failures
1. The autoclave is down — this is the month's real failure and the binding constraint. The heating rod burned out mid-run on the grow-jar sterilization. Nothing downstream — grow jars, fruiting, or remaking any culture — can proceed without a working sterilizer, so a single burned rod has stopped the whole chain. The fix isn't a generic part: it needs the exact heating rod for this unit, which means tracking down the original manufacturer. Until that's sourced and installed, the operation is blocked. Repair cost is unknown until the manufacturer is found and lands in the July ledger; the larger cost is timeline — every week the autoclave is down is a week the lineage sits idle.
2. The grow-jar test is incomplete and can't be trusted as a result. Two jars (GROW-2026-001) were inoculated from LC-2026-002-J1, but the run was informal and the sterilization aborted when the rod failed. Jars sterilized on a cycle that didn't complete carry a high contamination risk, so both are logged suspect — a probe, not evidence. When the autoclave is back, the grow-jar step gets redone properly on a verified cycle.
3. Restarting the chain now depends entirely on the autoclave. The LC-2026-002 jars performed well but have matured and are being phased out, so the plan is to make fresh liquid culture when the next grow jars are needed rather than preserve these. That's fine in principle — but making new LC and running grow jars both require sterilization, so with the autoclave down there is currently no way to start the next cycle at all. The hardware failure, not culture spoilage, is the thing holding the line.
7. Next month (July)
July's focus shifts off the lab bench and onto two things: planning the raise that funds the actual build, and selecting the land the first farm sits on. Lab work is deliberately secondary this month — the culture chain is proven enough to pause while the bigger pieces get set, and it's blocked on the autoclave anyway.
- Select the farm land. The concrete farm milestone for July is choosing the site for the first grow rooms — the physical asset everything downstream is built around. This is the priority.
- Plan the raise. Groundwork for funding the build moves to the front this month. Terms and timing aren't public yet; when there's something firm to share, it'll be shared here.
- Source the exact autoclave heating rod from the original manufacturer — no generic substitute — so sterilization can come back online when lab work resumes. Nothing downstream (fresh LC, grow jars, fruiting) moves until this is fixed.
